Individualized therapy at The Pain Relief Center... Safe, gentle, and powerfully effective. Lose the Pain. I make one promise: You will feel lasting changes in two to three sessions. Period.
The Pain Relief Center is located in Rochester, NY. My name is Walt Fritz and I founded the Center with a vision of providing comprehensive individualized treatment for the relief of pain, restoration of posture, and the return to function. Utilizing a method called Myofascial Release I am able to address problems that have not responded to previous surgeries, therapies, and medications, bringing about positive and lasting changes. While I can effectively help people who have unsuccessfully tried a other interventions, those who are seeking a fresh approach to a new problem will also find success. "Pain Relief" is a rather narrow term when it comes to describing the work that I do. Not all clients come to me as a result of pain; many are looking to regain a quality of life that they are missing. Clients of all ages can find solutions at the Pain Relief Center.

What makes the Pain Relief Center different? If you are familiar with traditional physical therapy, treatment at the Pain Relief Center will be unlike any therapy you've experienced. Treatment starts with a complete evaluation, where we will explore the cause of your pain. Traditional physical therapy frequently looks at pain from a weakness model. You are typically given exercises in an attempt to "stabilize" in an effort to reduce pain. These attempts are frequently unsuccessful. You return to PT 2-3 times a week to exercise, involved in an endless cycle of continued pain. Therapy at the Pain Relief Center, utilizing Myofascial Release, looks at the tightness within the body that is creating pressures that can create pain. Treatment focuses on relieving this tightness, taking the pressure off of pain sensitive structures, restoring function and reducing or eliminating pain. These are two very different models of both viewing and treating pain. If you are familiar with traditional massage therapy, you've no doubt felt the short term benefit of therapeutic massage. But have the gains lasted more than a few days? Treatment at the Pain relief center is intended to create lasting positive changes. Within two to three sessions, you will feel an improvement in your condition. Chiropractic can be very beneficial, but I would again ask if the changes last? Many times you need to return quite frequently to keep the pain reduced. I work with many chiropractors who find that the Myofascial Release treatment that is performed at the Pain Relief Center allows them to make the adjustments with greater ease and that the adjustments last much longer. I work in concert with your physician, specialist, chiropractor, physical or massage therapist, or other health practitioner to assure that we are treating you in a complete way. Experience the difference of Myofascial release at the Pain Relief Center.
